Engraved Sterling Silver Belt Buckles
Sterling silver hand engraved buckles- What a lost art and hard to find. Antique pieces are used to make a mold and then the buckles are cast in the lost wax process.
This is a one-at-a-time, hand crafted process. First the mold is filled with liquid wax and allowed to harden. Then the mold is opened, the wax extracted and hand finished to remove any blemishes. Then the wax is put into a canister surrounded by 'investment' molding material. When the perfect temperature is reached, the wax becomes liquid again and runs out of the mold (thereby being "lost") and the molten silver fills the space left by the wax.
When cool, the canister is opened and the investment removed, your buckle is left where the wax once stood. The hardware is soldered on and everything is hand polished to a mirror finish--ready for your monogram. Then the hand engraving process is done to finish each beautiful product. Each piece has a special story!!!
Each sterling silver buckle comes with a beautiful crocodile finished leather belt strip. You can choose either black or brown and your size. Sizes run 30- 40 and each belt has four holes for adjustments.
These items ship from Dallas, TX. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery for these custom items.

My Favorite Things! Plus it is ok to live "Outside the Box"!
Since The Pink Monogram is new at blogging ( really it is Monica), I thought I would show everyone my favorite things! I tried to add them all in one picture so you could get a good idea of me! The combo is Monogrammed Clogs, Chanel No5, Lilly Pulitzer, Costa Sunglasses, and my Louis Vuitton. Yes, The Pink Monogram did monogram my LV Bags. I did it this am after much thought and decided that I really needed to carry something that we monogram in the store. I tried the classic Block Serif. Before I have floods of people asking me to monogram their LV I would prefer not too!! I still love the way mine turned out. When I
was in Atlanta last month at the LV Store I noticed they are doing monogramming. It is printed not embroidered on the bags! The Monogrammed Clogs on the left are brown leather and have a hand painted leopard high heel. My new favorites are on the right and are called Bomber Jacket! Those are on a brown high heel. Those are not monogrammed. The leather was just sent in and I made me a pair really quickly. Love that new color. It reminds me of an old pair of my Frye Boots!!
So there you have it!! Preppy Greenville SC Girl with an "outside of the box" attitude toward life!
I am off the get a pedicure and the fabulous nail salon next to my Hayood store called Kim's Nails. My mom treated for my Birthday! Strawberry Margarita Pink from OPI so they match me!
See ya !

Monday - Back at Work
Most of you know that I get up very early and work. I was working on adding new items to the site till 11pm last night and I have been up today since 6am. Putting the finishing touches on adding some new picture frames to the site. This takes a while because I have to create the clusters - lists of options - to upload. Sending out emails later today showing the new items on the site. We have finally added a larger sale area to the site in order to roll out inventory. This is a great time to buy for Christmas since you can pick up several items for a portion of the cost. My customer service rep was out of town last week and it was tough to get much work done. Shelia will be back manning the phones today and most of my embroidery staff will be back in also. As many do not know - I can run the machines since I did it in the beginning by myself, but there is so much else to do now! Today I have many who do it for me along with my staff for accounting and shipping. I have a feeling this blog maybe help me organize my day and keep me on track with what has to be done. Please feel free to ask me any questions and forgive my typing since my fingers run slower than my brain.
